- Implement and maintain advanced scheduling software with 99.7% accuracy
- Act as primary liaison between physicians, patients, and ancillary services
- Analyze scheduling metrics to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times
- Manage high-priority patient appointments with discretion and empathy
- Train and mentor junior scheduling staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional scheduling experience in healthcare
- Expert proficiency in Epic, Athena, or similar EMR scheduling modules
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Certified Medical Scheduler (CMS) or equivalent preferred
