Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-ROI opportunities for our clients.
- Execute rigorous on-page and technical SEO audits to improve site health, speed, and crawlability.
- Develop and execute data-driven link-building strategies to elevate domain authority.
- Collaborate closely with content creators and developers to implement SEO best practices across all digital assets.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct internal SEO training sessions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong preference for candidates in or familiar with the San Francisco or Virginia tech scenes.
- Deep expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and major SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
- Strong technical understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote, flexible-hour environment.
