Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and rectify website performance issues, including site speed, crawlability, and indexation errors.
- Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies that align with business goals to improve organic search visibility and rankings.
- Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover new growth opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators and web developers, to optimize on-page elements and site architecture.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to report on campaign success.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and industry best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within the Columbus, OH area or remote-first environments.
- Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
