Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and fix website performance issues.
- Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and traffic.
- Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities.
- Optimize on-page content, meta tags, and HTML structure for maximum search engine performance.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console; report on key metrics.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure alignment between SEO goals and high-quality content production.
- Manage link-building campaigns and outreach efforts to improve domain authority.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably with a remote or digital agency background.
- Deep understanding of Google's search algorithms and best practices.
- Proficiency in technical SEO, including site speed optimization, sitemaps, and schema markup.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in or willing to work remotely from Milwaukee, WI.
