Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Mastery: Conduct in-depth technical audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and core web vitals problems to ensure optimal search engine indexing.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO roadmaps aligned with business goals, focusing on high-volume keyword opportunities and user intent.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to optimize landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions for maximum organic visibility and conversion rates.
- Link Building: Build and manage high-quality backlink profiles through outreach campaigns and relationship building with industry influencers and publishers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing monthly performance reports and actionable insights.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor strategies and market trends to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, specifically within the remote work environment or high-growth tech companies.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and server-side rendering (SSR) to facilitate technical optimization.
- Tools: Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- California Requirement: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States and based in California.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to translate technical data into business strategies.
