In this part-time role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase brand visibility. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities and trending topics relevant to the New York market.
- Optimize on-page content, meta tags, headers, and URLs to ensure compliance with current SEO best practices and search engine algorithms.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix issues such as site speed, crawl errors, and mobile usability.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including outreach for high-quality backlinks and building domain authority.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic, rankings, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly copy and optimize landing pages for lead generation.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry news to keep strategies competitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within the New York market or a similar high-traffic industry.
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Demonstrated experience in technical SEO, including schema markup, site architecture, and site speed optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, part-time capacity.
