Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Execute on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, headings, and content optimization.
- Oversee link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and backlink profiles.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with web developers to improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
- Generate monthly performance reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within a remote or agency environment.
- Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, schema markup, and canonicalization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be located in or willing to work remotely from Illinois.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
