Meridian Digital is seeking a visionary Senior SEO Strategist to lead our organic growth initiatives. In this role, you will be the architect behind our search visibility strategy, working closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure our digital presence dominates the competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive technical SEO audits and develop remediation strategies to improve site performance and crawlability.
- Lead keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities and content gaps.
- Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and schema markup, ensuring alignment with current search algorithms.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement structured data, improve Core Web Vitals, and enhance site architecture.
- Develop and manage content strategies that drive organic traffic and increase conversion rates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and large-scale website optimization.
- Deep understanding of Google’s Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and algorithm updates.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for on-page optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a remote-first or fully remote environment is highly preferred.
