Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and establishing coding standards to ensure code quality.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring our applications run efficiently at scale.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain high system reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed team setting.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-directed and proactive mindset with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
