Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent NexusTech at tech conferences
- Conduct security audits and implement zero-trust architecture principles
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
- Proven track record of leading production systems at scale
- Strong background in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex system integrations
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ full-lifecycle product deployments
