Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance for petabyte-scale data pipelines
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects used by our platform
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Strong background in CI/CD, testing, and observability tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
