Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through virtual pair programming
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI and product teams via Miro/Jira
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Architect CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js with modern frameworks
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-scale projects
- Excellent written communication for async remote collaboration
