Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 2-3 mid-level engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins
- Lead migration of legacy monoliths to cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement security-first DevOps practices including IaC and vulnerability scanning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expert proficiency in Go or Python with cloud-native frameworks
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong background in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
