Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical audits of client websites to identify crawl errors, indexation issues, and site architecture problems.
- Optimize site speed and Core Web Vitals to improve user experience and search rankings.
- Collaborate closely with web developers to implement schema markup, canonical tags, and HTTP headers.
- Monitor and analyze search engine algorithms to recommend strategic technical changes.
- Manage
robots.txt,sitemap.xml, and server configuration files for optimal indexing. - Develop and execute a strategy to reduce duplicate content and improve crawl budget efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, preferably within a remote-first or digital agency environment.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Console, Analytics, and Search Console Index Coverage reports.
- Proficiency in debugging JavaScript rendering issues and understanding Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and server-side technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python).
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with A/B testing tools and SEO auditing software (e.g., Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl).
