Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, stakeholders) to define project requirements
- Create design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across products
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify design opportunities
- Present design solutions to executive stakeholders with clear rationale
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and design critiques
- Stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies through continuous learning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with portfolio showcasing complex digital products
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions
- Experience working in fully remote or distributed teams
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving process and business impact
