Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Create engaging content calendars including original graphics, videos, and written copy
- Analyze performance metrics using Sprout Social and Google Analytics to optimize campaigns
- Manage community engagement, responding to comments and DMs within 2 hours
- Collaborate with PR and digital teams to integrate social media with broader marketing initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
- Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of social media management experience, preferably in DC/B2B environment
- Proven expertise in content creation for LinkedIn and Twitter
- Advanced proficiency in social media analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
- Strong graphic design skills with Canva/Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience managing social media budgets and influencer partnerships
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced political/advocacy landscape
- Portfolio demonstrating successful campaign results
