Role Overview:
As the Strategic AI Lead, you will not just implement existing technologies; you will architect the solutions for the future. You will lead a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, ensuring our delivery pipeline for the 2026 initiative is robust, secure, and innovative.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision for the 2026 Horizon initiative, ensuring alignment with company-wide business goals.
- Team Management: Mentor and lead a diverse team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant AI architectures capable of handling massive data streams in real-time.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of industry trends in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, evaluating and integrating new methodologies to improve system performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into actionable development roadmaps.
- Code Review & Standards: Establish and enforce high-quality coding standards and best practices across the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a top-tier university.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kubernetes).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex architectural issues and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
