Role Overview:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients in Texas and Ohio. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, guide users through technical processes, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and chat to clients in Texas and Ohio.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
- Manage and distribute company-issued equipment to remote employees.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve internal processes and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor during high-volume support periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in technical support, helpdesk, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
