- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Utilize industry-specific software (Express Scribe, Dragon) for efficient workflow
- Research and clarify complex terminology through authoritative sources
- Format documents according to client specifications (AAMT, BOS)
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with editors to resolve discrepancies and improve output
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficient in 80+ words per minute typing with 95% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology and style guides
- Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills
