Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and convert them into clear, accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Ensure strict adherence to client-specific style guides and strict deadlines.
- Manage file transfers and maintain organized digital archives of work.
- Identify and resolve ambiguities in audio files with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure voice tone and content accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general or medical transcription.
- Proven typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
- Proficiency in transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and home office setup.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
