- Format documents according to client specifications using provided software
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and completeness
- Utilize company-provided foot pedals, headphones, and transcription software
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Communicate efficiently with project managers for clarification requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 60 words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with ExpressScribe or similar transcription software
