Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictation with 99%+ accuracy across diverse specialties
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and patient confidentiality standards
- Utilize specialized EHR software for documentation and quality checks
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous terminology
- Perform self-audits and implement continuous improvement processes
- Train on new documentation systems and industry updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience with EMR proficiency
- CCS or RHIT certification strongly preferred
- Typing speed of 85+ WPM with 99% accuracy
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Flexible availability to accommodate evening/weekend shifts
