Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and live chat to end-users experiencing hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and standard office applications.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems and security alerts.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain a professional and patient demeanor when communicating with non-technical clients.
Qualifications
- Must be a legal resident of the United States and currently reside in Ohio.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download) and a quiet workspace.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PC hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; IT certification (A+, Network+) is a plus.
