Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 99%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general industries
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client information
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Format transcripts using industry-specific guidelines (e.g., BOS, AMA)
- Utilize digital tools like Express Scribe and Microsoft Word efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Communicate with team leads to resolve complex audio challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficient in English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with digital transcription software and foot pedals
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
