Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Advanced SQL Analysis: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, perform joins, and create views for reporting purposes.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize KPIs and trends for management.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to identify patterns, forecast trends, and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular performance reports and maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and findings.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and marketing teams to define metrics and validate analytical models.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current data workflows and propose automation solutions to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Tools: Familiarity with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ETL tools is a plus.
