Role Overview:
The Night Shift QA Engineer will be responsible for testing software products and applications to ensure they function correctly before release. You will act as the gatekeeper for our quality standards, working independently to identify bugs and performance issues.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts during the night shift to identify defects and bugs.
- Analyze system logs and error reports to troubleshoot issues affecting the user experience.
- Document bugs clearly and communicate them effectively to the development team during overlapping hours.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that software releases meet high standards of usability and reliability.
- Maintain and update test plans based on new feature releases.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM PST).
- Must be a resident of the United States (Remote).
