Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with 99% accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and client instructions.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas within strict deadlines.
- Use industry-standard transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive medical or legal information.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding complex sections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM (Words Per Minute).
- Fluency in English, including advanced grammar and vocabulary.
- Experience with medical or legal transcription is a plus.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription tools.
