Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Weekend Remote IT Support Specialist to join our growing team in San Antonio. If you are looking for a career that offers flexibility and the ability to work from the comfort of your home, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be the first line of defense for our clients, ensuring seamless operations during our critical weekend shift. We pride ourselves on our Equipment Provided policy—meaning we supply all the necessary hardware, including high-performance laptops, dual monitors, and noise-canceling headsets, so you can focus on solving problems, not buying gear.
This is an excellent opportunity for tech enthusiasts who thrive in a remote environment and are available to work weekends while maintaining full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for remote clients via phone, chat, and remote desktop tools.
- Weekend Coverage: Provide reliable technical support during Saturday and Sunday shifts to ensure business continuity.
- Equipment Management: Assist in the setup and configuration of provided company equipment for new hires.
- Incident Logging: Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system to maintain accurate records.
- Customer Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users with patience and professionalism.
- Security Protocols: Adhere strictly to data security and privacy policies while handling sensitive client information.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as troubleshooting common peripherals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Remote Work: A stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
