As a Transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in converting audio files into accurate, readable text. If you have a knack for typing and a passion for language, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas to ensure timely project delivery.
- Utilize industry-standard transcription software and file conversion tools efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive medical, legal, or business information.
- Research and verify proper names, terminology, and acronyms as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient typing speed of at least 60-70 words per minute.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
