Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 foresight framework, scanning horizon technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-cultural trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify emerging risks and opportunities across global markets
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications, conference keynotes, and media engagements
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 level
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and preparing for major industry disruptions
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech, quantum)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published author or frequent speaker at global innovation forums
