Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify breakthrough technologies and market paradigms for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for disruptive innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and implementation pathways
- Produce trend reports and white papers influencing product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers to co-create future solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technical shifts impacting long-term business strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies and emerging technology assessment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial roadmaps
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy publications
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend communication
