Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops with cross-functional teams to align innovation priorities
- Build quantitative and qualitative foresight models using trend analysis, scenario planning, and data visualization
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into roadmaps and development cycles
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future concepts into executable business strategies
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) and proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, industry journals, conferences)
