Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, bioeconomy) to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop future-proof roadmaps aligning R&D initiatives with long-term market trajectories
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on disruptive risks and opportunities
- Partner with product teams to embed sustainability and future-readiness into core offerings
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Maintain a proprietary foresight database tracking emerging technologies and behavioral shifts
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring human-centric development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-vision projects with measurable outcomes
