Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic vision through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops for board and executive leadership
- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Create innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Partner with R&D to incubate future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (AI, Web3, biotech)
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
