Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives on disruption risks
- Design ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on horizon-scanning initiatives
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend report for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor innovation fellows in future-proofing methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants for sustainable futures projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Published author in exponential technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed commercial implementations
