You'll lead a cross-functional team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists to identify disruptive opportunities, validate market readiness for 2026-era solutions, and build proof-of-concepts that redefine industry standards. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with strategic foresight to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with global sustainability and AI governance frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and next-gen neural interfaces
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate emerging startups
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven narratives
- Mentor a diverse team of 8-12 innovation specialists
- Secure $2M+ annual budget for experimental projects and partnerships
- Author thought leadership pieces on tech ethics and future-of-work paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record scaling experimental projects to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, or decentralized systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international partnerships
