Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market disruptions, and scientific breakthroughs to forecast 2026+ industry shifts
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) into core business
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on future technology scenarios
- Advise executive leadership on long-term tech investments and risk mitigation strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven scenario modeling capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech or innovation publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
