Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning with UN SDGs and tech disruption forecasts
- Lead Quantum-AI Fusion Labs, driving research in neuromorphic computing and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proof frameworks into product roadmaps and corporate governance
- Author Horizon Scans reports on metamaterials, synthetic biology, and climate-positive tech
- Manage a $50M innovation fund for early-stage 2026-enabling startups
- Represent Nexus at Davos, Web Summit, and IEEE 2026 Symposia
- Mentor 'Future Architects' program cultivating next-gen innovators
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact (e.g., blockchain, CRISPR)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review, Future Science, or equivalent
- Deep understanding of exponential tech convergence (AI+Quantum+Biotech)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing global research consortia
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, Cross-Impact Matrix, etc.)
