Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts post-2025
- Develop sophisticated scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into R&D roadmaps
- Author executive briefings on long-term strategic implications of emerging trends
- Curate and analyze global data streams (AI, climate, geopolitical, biotech)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Establish metrics to track foresight accuracy and strategic impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Global perspective with cross-cultural collaboration experience
