Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into 5-year roadmaps
- Host executive workshops on technological disruption and societal transformation trends
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports with predictive analytics and risk assessments
- Establish global networks of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation pipeline development through trend-based opportunity identification
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent certification
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight domains
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational initiatives
- Global mindset with demonstrated cultural intelligence
