Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026-2030 horizon) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for AI, quantum, and climate-tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for decision-making
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and startup accelerators
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for investors and stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation KPIs
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech roadmap implementations
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech or innovation publications
