- Represent company at global tech foresight summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor internal 'Futures Task Force' in scenario planning and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of predicting/developing technologies that reached market within 3-5 years
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology predictions that materialized as described
