Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in high-impact domains
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models
- Advise product teams on ethical design principles throughout the development lifecycle
- Author industry-leading whitepapers on AI ethics and responsible innovation
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI safety and alignment research
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and adapt compliance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance roles
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques and fairness metrics
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience translating ethical principles into technical specifications
- Strong stakeholder management with C-suite and technical teams
