Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for 2026-era applications (quantum-enhanced ML, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating AI with robotics, biotech, and climate systems
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on federally funded moonshot projects
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI coevolution
- Prototype AI solutions for Fortune 500 partners in healthcare, aerospace, and energy
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in emerging AI paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in AI, Computer Science, Computational Neuroscience, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning research with 3+ in quantum/neural-symbolic AI
- Published work at NeurIPS, ICML, or equivalent tier-1 conferences
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow with quantum computing libraries (Cirq, Qiskit)
- Proven ability to translate research into production-scale AI systems
- Strong background in ethics, explainable AI, and bias mitigation
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and distributed ML frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating work on 2026-relevant technologies (e.g., generative agents, neuro-symbolic systems)
