Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcriptions to correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Adhere to client-specific style guides and terminology requirements consistently.
- Meet strict daily and weekly productivity and quality assurance metrics.
- Utilize transcription software and hardware efficiently to maintain workflow.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding project updates and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional transcription experience.
- Exceptional typing speed (65+ WPM) and accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including advanced grammar and punctuation rules.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
