Job Description
Are you ready to define the future?
Apex Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Future Tech Architect to spearhead our 2026 innovation roadmap. We are building the infrastructure for the next generation of human-machine interfaces, pushing the boundaries of spatial computing, and integrating generative AI into core enterprise ecosystems. If you have a passion for solving complex scalability challenges and love the thrill of building the 'unbuildable,' this role is for you.
In this pivotal position, you will bridge the gap between theoretical cutting-edge research and production-grade engineering. You will lead a team of elite engineers tasked with architecting systems that are not only robust today but are designed to evolve seamlessly into 2026 and beyond.
Why Join Apex Horizon?
- Work with state-of-the-art Generative AI and Spatial Computing technologies.
- Competitive equity package and performance bonuses.
- Flexible remote-first culture with a hub in the heart of SF.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of handling exabyte-scale data throughput.
- Lead the strategic roadmap for 2026 technology integration, including quantum-ready protocols and edge computing infrastructure.
- Mentor and cultivate a high-performance engineering culture focused on innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to translate abstract concepts into concrete technical specifications.
- Drive the adoption of new programming paradigms and modern cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Serverless).
- Ensure system security, compliance, and performance optimization across all global deployments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Strong background in System Design, Microservices architecture, and distributed databases.
- Experience with Generative AI models (LLMs, Diffusion models) and MLOps pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
