Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing 2026-ready technology roadmaps
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-AI, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Design scalable prototypes for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Collaborate with policy experts to shape ethical AI governance frameworks
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget with quarterly impact assessments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership (quantum/AI experience preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products to market
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or conferences
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
