Responsibilities
- Design and execute 2026 technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems with 6-month MVP cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible implementation of breakthrough technologies
- Partner with venture capital firms to incubate spin-off technologies
- Present strategic innovation plans to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Published research in top-tier journals or conference proceedings
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or private innovation grants
- Strong background in technology ethics and responsible innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of futuristic technologies
