Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions with 3-year impact horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, fusion energy)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia and industry pioneers
- Present annual tech forecasts to C-suite and board members
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Drive patent strategy for 2026-viable innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products (3+ examples)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/Nature journals
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Deep knowledge of regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
