Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration, etc.) through 2030
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify innovation opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring technology adoption and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within tech-forward companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services that achieved market leadership
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions and market dynamics
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-functional teams of 15+ members
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFM) or equivalent strategic planning credentials
